Matthew

Matthew joined the Average Joe's in 2008. We are glad to have him leading by example in our club.  He is a very busy veteran 4-H'er, in his 9th year in 4-H.  Matthew is also a member of the Crazy4Canines Club.  Matthew serves on the 4-H County Council , has attended ILAW, District Council, Pinellas County Congress, and Camp Ocala summer camp.  Matthew has participated in Demonstration Day at the County and District, Recycled Art, Marine Science, Dog Shows, Florida State Fair, and many volunteer opportunities.

Average Joe's 4-H Club

Proud to be a volunteer with the Pinellas County 4-H Program, I am grateful to the Pinellas County 4-H Agents, all of the volunteer leaders, parent volunteers, and the Pinellas County 4-H Foundation for their help in our club work.  I helped organize the 2009 and 2010 Pinellas County Congress, attended the 2009 4-H Southern Region Volunteer Leader Forum in Rock Eagle, GA., serve on the Pinellas County 4-H Advisory Council and the Pinellas County 4-H Foundation Board of Directors.

JD

In 2005, J.D. was a founding member of the Average Joe's 4-H Club and has served as the President, Secretary, Historian, Reporter and Treasurer.  J.D. was recently elected to serve as Historian for the District IX Council.  Over the years, JD attend Pinellas County Congress, Summer Camp and ILAW at Camp Ocala, competed in County Demonstration Day and District Events. JD has participated in District Congress, the District IX Christmas Party and the District IX Centennial Celebration.  JD has perfect attendance at Average Joe's 4-H Club meetings - for all 6 years!  He has participated in all of the community service projects like the the Cheering Station for the Breast Cancer Walk, Air Potato Pick Up, Mease Continuing Care visits, Honeymoon Island Beach Clean-Up, and reading with pre-school students, and most recently serving pancake breakfast to Gasparilla participants from the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
